Our Commitments
As a small local business, we here at Regimental Cleaning Team are firm believers of helping others where we can. For this reason, we have a couple of announcements to make of things we have been working on in the background, to support other people.
NFRSA
As an ex-serving member of the Armed Forces, and a Dog Handler, I have got to meet and work for some amazing people. This Charity is one that lies very close to my heart, as one of my pets is an ex-service dog. When a service Dog or Horse finishes their service and goes into retirement, all help and funds from the service provider (be it Police, Prison, Fire or Border Force) also cease, and unfortunately because of the nature of the job they had conducted and their age at retirement, insurance companies will not insure these animals, and if they do it will be at a ridiculous cost, leaving the owners to pay all the vets' costs themselves for their animals. These animals have provided a service to the public, by protecting them in their own unique way, and it is a sad state of affairs that the government don't see it as a necessity to continue looking after them throughout their retirement, especially after they have given a life of service!
This charity runs solely on donations and funding from the public and was Launched in May 2022 by
The Rt.Hon.Countess Bathurst.
The NFRSA are a charity where owners of service animals, can apply for a grant when they are at their most troubled times with their service animal, and the help they receive is impeccable! These grants can pay a partial part of the vets' bill or in many cases will pay the majority of the bill, which, as a handler, puts our minds at ease when it comes to our service partner.
''The NFRSA will be there to support our magnificent emergency service animals. The work they do to keep the public safe throughout their careers is essential to the Police, Fire & Rescue, Prison, and Border Force services.''
It is for this reason i am proud to announce that for every booking I receive from YOU (the public), i will donate £5 to this Charity, who assists owners of service animals with these costs.
Defense Discount Service
Having myself served in the Armed Forces at an earlier time in my career, i know first hand how it feels to leaving such a well structured regimented service, to then try and re-intergrate back into a civilian way of life.

This not only throws up difficult challenges for us all, but life changing decisions for others. Just recently i performed a raffle winning carpet clean for an ex Veteran, who not only has had some difficult challenges in his life, but also lost his life savings, (whilst helping other people) due to inadequate treatment from our so called Government.

It is for this reason, i am very proud to announce that i have registered my Business with the Defence Discount Service, and every member who shows me their Defence Discount Card Will receive a 10% Discount off their cleaning invoice when booked in with my Company.
